Don't worry about not having a team - our captains will sort out eight equal teams based on experience, fitness and height. And no worries if you are a beginner - each team will be captained by a top player from Asia who will show you the basic ropes. And for those advanced, no worries - this will be spirited AND competitive.

This tourney is renowned for being the funnest most well-organized and over the top tourney in asia.

Here's the lowdown so far (party theme and details to be announced shortly):

Dates, times and locations
Registration party on the 17th of February, 2006 (year of the dawg) at Ye Olde Bell Inn, Sukhumvit Soi 11 Located within walking distance of the two recommended accommodation choices, and the BTS Nana Station. (It is right next door to Suk 11 hostel) A map will be posted on the web site closer to the tournament date. Bangkok Ultimate players will post themselves at the street corners to help with directions. Just look for people holding discs.
Ultimate games on the 18th and 19th of February (year of the dawg) at the Tor Bor Army fields off Vibhawadi-Rangsit road, same place as last year, and the year before, and the year…At registration, you will receive a map and instructions for getting to the field. It's an easy and inexpensive taxi ride away.

To do: While in Bangkok…see old friends, meet new people, enjoy the internationally famous nightlife in our fair city, go wild at the Saturday night party, play as much disc as your body will possibly allow.

How much does it cost? 2,400 baht or about US$60.00, payable at the registration party on the 17th of February at Ye Olde Bell Inn on Sukhumvit Soi 11

What do I get for my money?
You will receive tournament shirts (one with the unique color of the team you are joining, one white), a spectacular Year of the Dawgz commemorative disc (suitable for framing), breakfast snack, tons of food at lunch and lots and lots of fruit at the game fields, a handsome tournament bag full of odd donated items that may or may not prove useful, plus plenty of ice cold water, electrolytes and deliciously refreshing free beer. Additionally, you get a huge buffet dinner and an outrageous party with more free beer, the good old ice luge and a few surprises, hosted by a bona fide Ultimate player from Britain, imported expressly for this purpose. The party will go until the wee small hours of the morning and the winners of the party trophy will be chosen based on a complicated formula that only make sense when you are really really drunk!

Accommodation
This year once again we are giving you a choice of budget accommodation at the Suk 11 Hostel and a medium to nice range hotel accommodation at The Grand President Hotel for your stay in Bangkok. The Hotel and Hostel are within walking distance of each other so you will not be too far away from your team mates and friends no matter which lodging you choose. The hotel and hostel are also located close to the Friday night registration venue. Please book before 30 January, as the hotel is unable to hold rooms for us beyond this date.

A great tournament.. Two days of fervor, fun, and frisbee.

Of the 200 players from around Asian that participated, Japan was under represented. I highly recommend it for next year.
