OCJ International Christmas Party! Friday 14th December from 7.30pm.

Will be have meeting/ Christmas potluck style party in Suidobashi where we had the first OCJ meeting in March. Reserved from 7-9.30pm and can extend to 10pm.

* Meeting for new members 7.00-7.30pm. A short talk about the club and answers to visitors questions.
* 7.30pm - 9.30pm and later: Informal Christmas Party (About 50+ but over 40 signed up now)

Entrance fee to cover the extra cost of this room etc is 500 yen for OCJ members and 1,000 yen for non-members. You can bring guests but please sign them up on the website.

Bring food and drink to share with everyone. Suggested spending on food and drink about 2,000 yen. Please don't bring bags of snacks and cheap convenience store food. We will continue the party at another location from 10pm - bar, izakaya or karaoke.

Meeting Location

Its 1 minute from JR Suidobashi station in a rental room - map below.

West side exit of Suidobashi station (nearest Idabashi). Cross the main road outside and go along small street past pachiko places. After 50m you will see a Renoir coffee shop on the left (2nd FL). Turn left here and the meeting room is about 20 m down the street on the right. There is an AM/PM convini just after the coffee shop if you miss the turning. Room number 2 on the 2nd floor - stairs are at the back of the building.

Other meeting activities/presentations (not confirmed yet):

* Introduction to basic rope techniques and knots by OCJ organizers.
* Cheap gear suitable for beginners starting hiking (might also be an outdoor shop tour again soon)
