Last Update! A few bits of useful information.
You can still join the trip as there is lots of space on the campsite - expecting maybe 5 others I know to join.
Anyone can join still - it is ok, just be sure to email me tonight or call me in the morning. There is one condition! You must be at Ome station by 11am to pay for the trip before we go shopping.
If people are late they must call me. Joining the BBQ late will be "case by case"; as we have to spend money in advance for people who might not come. Late people will have to pay 500 yen extra to cover more expensive costs of buying later at the compsite.
Travel Details
Shinjuku 10.11 am train for Ome on the Chuo Line.Arrive Ome 11.10am. Meet at the main ticket gate (11.15am), pay for the BBQ (6500en) then go shopping in supermarket near the station . After that we take a train to Hatonosu (2 stations before Okutama) and walk/ use car or pick up servie to the campsite (Buttress Campsite).

On The Train
We will prepare a menu, then recipe,then shopping list. Groups of people will be responsible for one thing ... like; breakfast food, or drinks, or meat BBQ, curry etc. They will do the shopping for their list.

Try to bring one thing that is useful for group cooking. Also bring your own things for eating and drinking!.

* Try not to be late: 11.10am at Ome station for shopping.
* I will be in the front carriage of the train from Ochanomizu. Most people get on at Shinjuku, platform 10 at the Front end please!
* Bring "1" thing useful for cooking.
* There are futons/blankets there so you dont need to take anything.
* We will choose the lodges on the day and can reserve one for women only if you need that.
* ***We will have OCJ Rotenburo *** - made specially for us! So bring swimsuit if you dont want to show off your body. There is an indoor bath too.

* Activities: rock climbing, easy hike Mitake san, river hike by me, and anything esle good we can think of.

* It is about 40 mins walk from Hatonosu station on the south side across the river - just ask someone "Koesawa Buttress Campjou".
* From the staion we might have a car pick up service and the food will be carried by Ron and then by the campsite owner (motorized cart) - we dont need to carry anything.
* Ear plugs, flashlight useful items.
