Hi!

I`m looking for some places to go backpacking in the Kantou area. Everyone I have talked to only knows car camping places and the internet has not been much help...

Are there any places where I can legally pitch a tent in the middle of the woods or what? Even if not `legal`, directions to the spot where you spent a fantastic weekend away from the Tokyo grind would be much appreciated.
