Taj peoples,

if you've confirmed your desire to attend taj 2008. good job!
If you're not confirmed, we need to know ASAP.

Taj is coming pretty dang soon. July 12-13!

we're going and we're going to have a blast!

first things first.
tomorrow, June 15 (father's day, don't forget!) we're going to have a meeting to take care of transportation, lodging, and logistics.

please come.
If you cant come, send me or jei an email and we'll let you know what you missed.

after the meeting, we'll discuss our indomitable O and our tenacious D. we'll even practice.

so.

show up at shin at 1230ish.
the meeting will start at 1300 sharp :-P
that way those who are interested can join yosh's running extravaganza and meet us after.
we'll try our best to keep the meeting short, sweet and to the point so we can play ultimate.

If you know people who should be contacting us, send us their email asap and we'll see what we can do.

I hope some animal never bores a hole in my head and lays its eggs in my brain, because later you might think you're having a good idea but it's just eggs hatching.

Good evening group!
Thanks to everyone, organizers, "coaches" and players for such an AWESOME tournament! I had so much fun! I think I'll come back every year... ;-)
I posted some (as in very few...) pictures here:
Alex's pictures from Tajima!

Enjoy! And landshark! (From the verb "to landshark" -> Luke, Makoto and Shag "landsharked".)

Nice photos Alex! (quite a few of Yasuko I noticed)

Glad to see the grounds were nice and dry this time. The field looked like it was in great shape as well.

If you'd like to take a trip in the way back machine, back when British Mike was way under 80kg, feel free to check out what the first Taj Cup was like, when Iku! was still Small Axe:

Taj Cup 2004 PHOTOS

Boy, some of us are almost unrecognizable in those photos!

Wow, I never realized that was you in that photo Yoshio! I think you look pretty much the same still, though.

Genny!

Due to rain at the 2005 tourney, I only took 7 photos, despite your luminance engulfing the tourney. I think I had already posted the 7 phots, but they were lost in the midst of technical difficulties sometime last year.

I am writing that wrong right now, though!

Check back again around midnight.

I started looking through the Taj photos I had saved from my computer and found some rare footage of Luke. That's right. In fact, there is a real sweet photo of Luke in some karaoke action. These photos are not my own, but Lily and Bruno's.

Tajima 2005: Where's Luke? I can find him in three photos.
