I'm soon coming upon the anniversary of my 7th year in Japan, and feel the need to do something special in order to mark this once in a lifetime experience. What better reason to throw a party?
With Golden week also fast approaching I've deemed April 29th (Saturday) to be the day. That and the fact that I entered Japan on exactly that same day 7 years ago.
The party will include drinks, food and fun. If Mike shows up there might even be some arm slapping, welts and ass biting (Yumiko beware!). And if we're lucky enough to have Jason show up, we might even have a DJ and photographer on hand to record the event.
I figure we start around 6, party 'til 11 and then make our way to some of Tokyo's finer establishments in Roppongi for after party dancing!

That's funny, I entered Japan exactly on April 29th too! This April 29th will be my 3-year anniversary. So with Mike's birthday added on, lots of things to celebrate.
The only slight conflict is that the 29th is also the premiere of V for Vendetta, so I'll probably get to JC's after checking out an early evening showing. I'm stoked about possibly having live photo slideshows going on and spinning more tunes.
Oh, and the Vince House Party video is about 40% edited and should be finished by tonight possibly, if not Wednesday for sure.
