On Saturday, May 30th there is an ultimate-related event going on in Kanagawa.

The local Cub Scout organization will be holding a day camp from 08:30 to 16:30. During that day, there will be an ultimate workshop. It will only be a small part of the day's activities, but a great way to spend a beautiful Saturday! I will be helping out with the ultimate and there has been much interest in coming expressed by people not able to come, but I'd really appreciate some more people coming out and helping. You can spend the night down here closer to the venue if the travel is far. I promise not to watch "Schindler's List."

You don't have to be an ultimate all-star to come and help. In fact, the things we are teaching the boys for their "belt loop" (some sort of scout badge... I'm vague on the details) are the barest of the bare. They don't need to leave with the skills for nationals, just the knowledge that ultimate is a sport and not just tossing a disc back and forth.

Not only will you be able to help out with some kids, but you'll also be able to visit one of the bases, have access to American fast food (McDonalds with US menu, Taco Bell, Dunkin Donuts, etc.), and meet new people! Woot.

If you are interested, please let me know. If you have any questions, please let me know. If you want to talk about your feelings, please let me know.

Hugs and kisses,

Sorry about not replying earlier. It's great that there is interest. Please send me your full name, the name of anyone else attending with you, and your phone number.

I'm not sure exactly what activities will be going down, but Eli is of course welcome.

Remember, if it's too far for you to get there in the morning, you're welcome to crash down here the night before.

The station is Sagamino. It is at Atsugi base.

Hey G - weather for Saturday's not looking so hot right now (80% change of rain). If it rains, is this event still on, moved indoors, or nuked?

I hope this gets to Ms. Genny Foote.

It was great meeting you in Fujisawa today!
Thank you very much for the tips for my friend in the US.
I sent her the information you gave me.
Her name is Heather, living in Indiana.

If she asks me further questions, can I ask you a help again.

If this is not the right place to give a message to Ms. Foote, I'm sorry.
