Hi,

I've been in Japan for a few weeks, but have been too busy to play but I am interested in playing. I'll have some time tomorrow and I was just wondering what the turn out usually is, and if you guys play when it rains.

The forecast for Sunday 8/24 looks like it will rain, which is why I ask.

Thanks!!

Andrew, the best advice is probably to check back here later in the morning today. Given that it's going to be warmer than Saturday, and the rain forecast looks both weak and intermittent, I'm guessing that there's a strong chance that we'll have pickup from 2pm at Kuji.

We've been having good turnout -- 7x7s with subs -- for most of the summer.

Hi Doug,

Thanks so much. Where's Kuji?

Directions to our Kuji fields are here:
http://dilatory.org/kuji

Ignore the details at the top of the forums -- we have not played at Futako-Tamagawa in almost a year due to a typhoon destroying our field; pickup also starts, generally, around 2pm.

Kuji is most easily located using Futako-Shinchi station. Provided the weather doesn't go significantly downhill from now, I'll be walking in from there at 1:45pm; if you'd like to be shown the way please meet me just outside the faregates (there's only one exit) at Shinchi.

(Futako-Shinchi is on the Denentoshi line and is about 15 minutes from of Shibuya. Express trains do not stop at Futako-Shinchi, but you can take the express from Shibuya, if offered, and change to the local for one stop at Futako-Tamagawa).

Thanks so much Doug.

I'll try to make it out there, but I'm still battling a bout of bronchitis. So if not, maybe I'll be out there in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks again!

Andrew
