I'm a new ALT(through the JET Programme)in Southern Chiba, and I'll be around for at least a year. I played a ton of Ultimate the past year or two in Philadelphia, USA before coming here. I'm not sure I want to make the 2 hour trip to Tokyo to play, but I was wondering if there was a team/group in Chiba-ken that I could play with. If not, are there people interested in starting up one? I brought a bunch of discs with me so no need to worry about that! Please let me know if you're interested, or know of a group. Thanks!
I think there is a group playing frisbee in Chiba I'll check it out and will let you know soon, I'm live in Tokyo and I usually attended the pick-up in Hiroo High School every weeknight from 6:30-9o pm. The organizer are from the IKU Ultimate, the group also who also play at Shin-Tamagawa every Sunday and in Yoyogi park in Shibuya, everyone is welcome to join. I know it will be hard for you to come over but I hope you can find or make your group as well to start playing again..I visit Chiba once a month to play some other sports too. So keep it up... Tammy
Please do let me know when you find out if there's a group in Chiba! I'm sure my withdrawl will get strong enough at some point to make the trip to Tokyo, but it'd be great if there was a place I could travel to regularly. Thanks for all the info!
