Trekking and outdoor activities are popular in countries such as U.S.A. , New Zealand and Canada . However, we rarely see people from those countries in trekking and outdoor activity locations around Japan. Foreigners are mostly seen in larger cities throughout Japan.
I’m doing a research project for the graduation research class at I-NAC College in Myoko in Niigata. This study is to discover foreigner’s knowledge and interests in trekking and outdoor activities in Japan.
