I've been invited to work at NAC next winter, and so I'd like to plan a trip later this month or early in May to hike the mountains and get a little bit of a taste for the BC terrain before snow falls and we're out on our snowboards.

I need a tent and sleeping-bag, and also information about campsites (whether or not it's legal to camp in the wild etc.). A topographical map would be nice, too.

So if anyone knows where I can buy/rent the above, I would really appreciate a reply or a private message. Advice too is always appreciated.
