Does anyone have any recommendations on where to purchase large trail walking/running shoes in Tokyo? I've been to Oshman's and ICI, and the largest they have is a 28/29. I need 30cm (12 inches), and would prefer not to have to resort to a U.S. online purchase if I can find something locally.

you should also check SportsAuthority - Yokohama and Odaiba as well as other places. They have large size, depending on sport. Pretty good chance to find walking / running.
There are also some Japan online purchases you could make. shopping.yahoo.co.jp
