this club has been doing good things for many years. I highly recommend them: www.iac-tokyo.org http://www.iac-tokyo.org/index.php Examples: cross country skiing, mountain biking, day hiking, overnight hiking, alpine skiing, snowboarding, climbing some of Japan's peaks (Japan Alps), Yakushima trips, kayaking in remote regions, snorkeling, and road cycling through somewhat remote regions. Oh yes and they have regular parties and seasonal gatherings. Some of the events are technical and risky, others are a walk in the park. Enjoy IAC!
