I'm planning on buying a pair of streetskis (www.streetski.com, if you're curious) and I was wondering if there were a lot of decent areas in Tokyo to use 'em.

I figured you longboarders would favour similar slopes etc that i'd be looking for.

Thanks.

(so this is what it looks like outside the Ultimate forum...)

Hey Sock Monkey - have a look at these routes. Not sure what kind of speed control you can get on those so not all will work but there are some cruizer runs listed here as well.

"Flow or Never" as seen recently on a classic no-where-but-Japan T-shirt.

hey Sk8... I think you should add those "omotesando" runs... haha... *just put a caution: may be very dangerous during peak hours*

Hey, i actually say a guy on what looked like a longboard down ometesando (sidewalk though).. I think pretty soon, if we skate the omotesando roads enough, we can start a revolution and open a new realm to the Japanese people...

Those streeskis look like fun. You will definately get some looks if you strap that thing and cruise around... seems like you can do a normal "hockey stop" with those. That would be pretty sweet.

No dudes on dudes pleze.

Thanks for the link! Looks like some cool spots.

I just put in the order today, prob have the toys in less than 2 weeks.

Can you guys recommend a good shop to get protective gear? Practicing those hockey stops might be painful.
