Anything free is good but Free longboard decks are hard to beat. If you want to get rolling or just want a little extra for your quiver you can take your pick of either this Rayne Forge or Rempel Pintail. Arrange time and place for pick-up. Post here with any questions.

Why? These are functional but not really sellable idecks. That and it's about Love.

The Forge has been used (a lot) and is starting to warp but would make a fine board for anyone on a tight budget. Just pick yourself up a set of trucks and wheels and you'd be rolling on a nice rig.

The Rempel Pintail arrived a few years ago as a demo board. It has sweet flex and rides really well. The wheel wells are slightly off and the deck clear coat is not very even but this is free, brah, and it is a great feeling ride.

Width: 8 1/2"
Shape: Flat 9 ply
Flex: Medium-Soft

The pintail is nice with a set of Randal 150's and some soft wheels. Really stylish cruizer that pumps well across the flats.

Was my favorite late night dog walking board for awhile there.

Hey Sk8,

Been awhile since I've been on here. How have things been? I really wanted to join the Mt. Fuji snowboard and skate, but I was in the US on business. I hope to make it to next year's Fuji snow and skate.

Anyway, I'm getting a buddy of mine into longboarding and he doesn't have a board yet, so he would probably be interested in one of these 2 (probably the pin). I would be happy to have the forge, but I think its probably better to spread the stoke to some others new to longboarding.

Tokyo Gator - Good to hear from you bro. We had a good time on the Fuji run and should think about something for the fall sometime. I found a public bus that runs from the base to the 5th station so that gives even better access making an early morning decent a one car affair.

You'll spread the stoke for certain so if you want either or both of those decks they are yours.

Sweet deal Sk8. I guess we will hook up both and see if we can't get some more of our friends out on streets.

Let me know when you are free, so my friend and I can meet up with you to pick up the decks. We are both free Saturday afternoon if you are available.

Also, what setup would you recommend for the Forge?

Thanks

Saturday could work fine.

The Forge is designed around the Randal Trucks and I have always ridden it with 180's and 70-76mm wheels. Something like the Krypto R70, 76mm Classics or ABEC 11 Flashbacks would be a nice combo with this deck. It has big wheel cutouts so doesn't need risers or just something small like a 1/8 shockpad.

On the pintail, I would stay in the 70mm wheel range to avoid having to put it up too high. It works well with wedge/angled risers to make it a bit more turny.

As you decide on what you want, if you need anything, one of the best places to find parts is on the OJ Marketplace If you want anything there right away, just write marketplace@outdoorjapan.com rather than order it on-line and I could get the gear together from OJ and pass it to you Sat. Everything is in stock except the 66mm 81a Strikers.

Either way though, those decks could be a fun project to work on over time.

Cheers

Sounds great. I was planning on getting most of the gear through the OJ marketplace, but I wanted to confirm one thing... I was just checking out the marketplace and it says that the RII-150s and RII-180s are out of stock, so no go on the RII's? I know I can get 150s at Oshman's in Harajuku if need be, but I'm not sure about 180s.

If Saturday afternoon works out okay for you, let me know the place and the time at schlizz@hotmail.com

Thanks again man.

Sorry about the confusion and I'll look into that but I am almost 100% certain they are both in stock. That is probably old information that needs to be updated but let me double check.

I'll follow up with you after I get that information at the address you posted there.

Until later then...

Great. Thanks man.

Also, it looks like I will be able to meet up anytime on Saturday (not just the afternoon).

HAH! I was looking at your marketplace at the forges and I saw the price. That's the same freaking price that Allrose Sk8 in Red Deer sells them for! and they're made in Canada too! How can you afford to sell them??!??!?!!?!? You must be flowed out of your gourd!

yo Robato! what up man! How goes Canada?

Man, the bigfish is sweeeet... If you can get a hold of some Holeys, that is a nice setup. Or you can get crails like Sk8.. Probably in Canada with nice long strech of road, you can get some gumballs and do some tight downhill...

though the moment you don't respect the board, this will happen... (that and tight trucks)

Mr. Robato - I'll let border give you the details on his nose so I can reserve the right to heckle him from the sidelines. I saw the whole thing go down but didn't have the clarity of mind to keep the video rolling when I saw it start to come together.

To answer your question on the Forge price, OJ isn't going to continue selling those boards in 2007 so just moving the remaining stock on to people that need them. If that makes them available for the same price as you see in Canada , that means we are doing the job right.

You get a new board yet?
