I'm looking to buy a food dehydrator, something you can't buy in, or get sent to Japan, for whatever reason. I'm looking for the "American Harvest" brand dehydrator but any good brand will do.

Cheers

I can help you out here, I ordered a dehydrator from:

http://www.fernsnutrition.com/dehydrators.html

The Excalibur Dehydrator Model 2500, shipping was about $90, no Japanese duty as I recall. Order the teflex sheets as well for bread, fruit rolls, etc. I also would pay extra for the timer if I did it all again, more often than not the "cooked" time falls at 4am.

Cheers, Kamakura

Thanks alot Kamakura, I've tried a few online sites in different countries but for whatever reasons they won't or don't ship to Japan. I'll give this company a try. Thank you once again.

cheers Smiler
