Damn, I really want to do it. You need to give more advance notice, however - I've already used up all my vacation days for this year.

I'll ask my office if they will grant me a special leave for this purpose, but I'd guess the odds are not good.

Will you do it again in the future? Please say "yes", and please let us know the dates as far in advance as possible.

Hi tokyo bill

We are planning to have Wilderness First Responder course at least once a year.
We started to host it since last year and next one is a third times.
But it is not sure about the dates for 2009 season right now.

Anyway we will inform it as soon as possible after we fix the datses next time.
We are looking forward to seeing you in the course at that time.

Thank you,

Hiroshi

We finished a half of the WFR course at Asagiri Kogen in Fuji area. We are having a day off today. We had many lectures in first 3 days but we will have many practical hands outs and scenarios in the second half more and more.

Hiroshi,
I was just wondering who the instructors are from Wilderness Medical Associates. I took their WFR course about 2 years ago in the US and was quite pleased with the quality of teaching and overall content. Hope the current course is going well.

I'm just back from the WFR, and it was excellent! A small, motivated group; extremely hardworking support from the dual function OBS translators/staff (thanks Hamatani-san!!); and fantastic teaching by WMA's Dave Ramsey and Georgia Villaflor.

I understand that OBS intends to bring back WMA instructors to do this course from time to time in the future, and I recommend it in the highest possible terms.

I'm going to try to add a pic of me playing victim in a night simulation. Let's see if it works.
