Hi there,

I'm new the the Touhoku area. I live in Morioka and would like to know if there are any other climbers in the area. I'd love to get out for some climbing.

I'm not necessarily a strong climber but I've been climbing for more than 10 years in more than 10 different countries. So I have some idea of what I'm doing...

I'm also interested in Hiking, backcountry skiing/boarding, mountain biking and SCUBA diving. And I'll give almost anything else adventerous a go too.

Hi Steve, I`m an English guy based in Sendai....about an hour south of you by shinkansen. I`m into climbing and mountaineering as well but my technical standard isn`t too high....especially compared to all the sport climbers out here but I`ve got plenty of mountaineering experience.
