Recently I have entertaining the idea of biking along the coast of the Japan sea up to Iwate. The scenery and sea food would be phenomenal and I can't imagine there being much traffic outside cities like Toyama and Nigatta.

The golden week holiday would be great for such an expedition but I don't think i'm going to be able to get a bike in time.


Has anyone biked at all along the Japan sea coast line? Was the traffic bad?
