I hope someone can answer this quickly!

Can anyone tell me if camping on the public beaches near Shimoda, Shizuoka is allowed? We just want to stay for one night in a tent on the beach. Will it be ok? Thanks for your prompt reply!

I have no idea about Shimoda, Shizuoka but I know up here in Hokkaido you can camp on any beach anywhere but you can't light fires straight on the beach, you must use something to hold the fire .
